Job Details

Title: Hearing Aid Practitioner
Tasks
- Assist health care professionals
- Examine adult patients to determine the degree of hearing loss, recommend appropriate hearing aids, take earmold impressions, and perform follow-up examinations and fittings.
- Supervise technical and support staff
- Order and purchase equipment
Conditions: 37.5 hours per week / $70,000 per year/ 2 work locations: the clinic located at 112 Avenue Laurier W., Montreal, Quebec, H2T 2N7 or the clinic located at 2601 Rue William-Tremblay, Suite 2209, Montreal, Quebec, H1Y 3J2.
Education
Equivalent to a professional DEC in Hearing Aid Practitioner
Licensure by a provincial or territorial regulatory body for hearing aid practitioners
