As a Farm Supervisor, your responsibilities will include guiding growing shoots into optimal positions to support healthy vine and tree development while managing the overall growth of vines, canopies, and fruit production. You will be responsible for training trees to produce higher-quality fruit, tying and securing plants, and removing suckers and water sprouts manually. Additionally, you will assist in soil fertility programs, including mixing fertilizers, and carrying out essential agricultural services such as irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting. General farm duties include weeding, budding trees, and clearing fields of wood and stones. You will also be expected to operate, maintain, and repair farm machinery, equipment, and buildings. Supervisory responsibilities may include coordinating and overseeing the work of general farm workers and harvest laborers, ensuring farm safety procedures are followed, and managing crop-related operations. This role is essential in maintaining the health and productivity of the farm while ensuring efficient and sustainable agricultural practices.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a valid pesticide applicator’s license, and a minimum of five years of experience in a related role.
