Position: Drywall Installer Helper

Work Location: various locations
Salary: $27.27 to 37.27 per hour (to be negotiated), for 40 hours/week
Benefits: as per collective agreement

Job Description

Language: English required
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: 3 to 6 months of experience
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Hand-eye coordination
Personal Suitability: Team player, reliability

Tasks:
• Assist skilled tradespersons (drywall installers)
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
