Job Requirements:

Job Description

Main Duties:
• Perform daily inspections of hotel building systems; make minor repairs to heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, and ventilation equipment; arrange trades for major work.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as drywall repair, painting, minor carpentry, door and fixture adjustments, and furniture moves.
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies; create purchase requests as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest-room and public-area repair requests, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and preventive-maintenance schedules; report recurring issues to management.
• Assist skilled tradespersons and outside contractors working on-site; escort and monitor vendors per hotel security policy.
• Ensure compliance with all workplace health, safety, and security standards; participate in monthly safety inspections and drills.
• May supervise or train junior maintenance staff.
